Pelvic Dilators

Dilators are very helpful when people have pain with initial penetration. They are great for stretching the muscles of the pelvic floor as well as desensitizing the area and can even assist in the mental component of recovery.

I typically assign these as “homework” to people that have pain inserting a tampon, speculum exams, or with initial penetration. It also depends on the person, their time, finances, and comfort level.

There are many many brands of dilators but I like these because they’re bendy! This is Intimate Rose.
